Fresh off their trip focused on race and justice across the American South, Malik Ashiru and Kyle Westaway will share some experiences and invite you to join the conversation around race and justice in our country and community. They had the opportunity to meet with some incredibly inspiring people on their trip through New Orleans, Jackson, Selma and Montgomery. They listened to the the stories of civil rights legends, activists, politicians, policy makers and just regular people. They walked away with greater empathy and were deeply grateful for the opportunity to move beyond policy to connect with people.
